Nebular Winter

Since it's been a while since I've written anything, I thought I might as well combine a late AFK post with a blog entry and talk about my weekend.
On Friday evening me and some others were meeting up at a friends house outside town, he lives out in the woods, sort of. During the evening it started to snow like crazy and it just kept going on all night long. I'm not kidding, the amount of snow that came down during the night was just crazy. It was the type of winter that Immortal sang about on "Blizzard Beasts", the phrase "Nebular Ravens Winter" (whatever the hell that means) sprung to mind when I looked outside. We were taking bets on which ancient God or Goddess (of this eternal winter kingdom) that would rule the world from this day forth.
On Saturday morning the whole garden was covered in snow and we were pretty much trapped there. A few of us cleared away enough snow so we could go out to the car and pick up some miscellaneous stuff we've left there, but no one could be arsed to shovel any more snow, so we just decided that we would just stay put and hope that it melts away (or something, I don't know). Not the best idea, but a mixture of laziness and ridiculous amounts of snow trapped us in the house for one more night.
On Saturday night, being our second day in this house we had to kill and eat one of our friends, just like in the movie Alive. We didn't do it because us surviving depended on it, but because no one really liked the guy anyway. I mean come on, the guy brings a six-pack of cheap domestic beer and think that he can help himself to my imported Guiness, what a fucking clown-shoe. He was just mooching of us all night long, "oh I must have left my cigarettes at home, could I grab one from you?", "the reception on my phone is rubbish out here, can I use yours?", "I'm just kidding, put the knife down, I love moonkins!"
